Inspection Information

Of these 35 violations, 15 are called CDC risk factors. These 15 violations are the top causes of foodborne illness. 其他违规行为包括一般卫生和物理设施违规,如果不加以纠正,可能会间接导致食源性疾病.

取决于检查期间观察到的条件, several enforcement actions may be taken.

Voluntary Closure

  • Extreme unsanitary conditions
  • Extreme pest infestation
  • Water supply not adequate
  • Critical pieces of food equipment not functioning properly

Summary Suspension

当一个迫在眉睫的健康危害存在且在合理的时间内无法纠正时, the health department immediately closes the facility.  These conditions include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Sewage backup into the facility
  • Insufficient refrigeration or hot hold storage equipment
  • Evidence of pests in food or on food preparation surfaces
  • Interruption of safe, potable water
  • Foodborne disease outbreak linked to the facility
  • Interruption of electrical service for more than 4 hours
  • Severe structural damage

  • 其他 imminent hazards as determined by the health department

Revocation Notice

Reinspection Within

This notice is issued to the facility when, after an inspection is complete, 仍然存在无法在检查期间纠正的优先级违规.  The operator must make the correction within 24 hours, indicate action taken on the Notice form, and return it to the Health Department.

Types of 检查

Several types of inspections are conducted in food establishments. This is based on the priority of the establishment, previous inspection results and complaints received by consumers.

Follow-up (Compliance)

New Establishment

Types of Violations
